Our mission is to create stronger communities

The Nusenda Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2015 to support and expand the credit union’s philanthropic efforts and community outreach. The foundation aims to enhance the education, health, social and economic conditions of the communities our members live in. When we work together, we have the power to create positive change in our communities across New Mexico. That’s the philosophy behind our Community Rewards program. This program, made possible by the participation of our members, allows the Nusenda Foundation to provide Community Rewards grants to programs and organizations that are making a positive difference in the communities they serve. We provide grants to places that are doing important work in one of our five focus areas:
