Debit Card Lock

Now, you can lock your card to reduce the chances of unauthorized transactions to your account.


You can easily unlock it the same way. No more hassles having to cancel your card, change your account number, or reset automatic payments. Your scheduled transactions will go through as normal.



To lock your card, follow these simple steps:

  • Log into your Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking account.
  • Select Debit Card Lock from the menu.
  • Select Lock Card to temporarily lock your card.

You’ll follow the same process to unlock your card when it is found.

If I have a recurring transaction, will it still clear my account? »

Any transactions that have already been authorized, such as recurring or pending transactions, will clear your account and cannot be stopped by locking your card.

How do I close my card and request a replacement? »

To permanently close your card, call us at 505-889-7755 (800-347-2838) from outside the Albuquerque area) or visit any branch location for assistance.

 How do I dispute charges I did not make? »

If you see debit or ATM card activity that you did not authorize, please call us at 505-889-7755 (800-347-2838 from outside the Albuquerque area) or visit any branch location to file a dispute.
