Currently, reports show that New Mexico is ranked 16th in the nation for the number of solar installations — that's enough power to supply 205,000 homes. And with installations comes jobs — more than 2,000 New Mexicans currently hold solar-based employment. What's more, studies predict that by 2030, advanced solar technology can support more than 6,800 directly related jobs in the Land of Enchantment. With this growth comes the need for workers educated in the field. We work with local educational partners who are developing a workforce for the future with alternative energy training and certification.
