Nusenda Credit Union cares about our members and the communities affected by the Ruidoso fires. We are here to help and have been reaching out to members in the area to check on them.

Are you impacted by the fires?

If you are impacted by the fires and need financial assistance, please reach out to us at 505-889-7755. We can work with you to understand your needs and provide a personalized approach. For example, Nusenda can waive the penalty for early share certificate withdrawals, set up a skip a payment on loans, and work with you on a mortgage extension.

Here are some of the options we can discuss with you:

Member Assistance Loan – This 0% loan (up to $1,500) is available to people directly impacted by the fires.

Loan Payment Extensions – We can work with you on loan payment arrangements, including payment extensions or deferrals.

Early Share Certificate Withdrawal - You may withdraw from their certificate early, without penalty.

Savings Secured Loans – You can borrow money for any purpose, at our lowest interest rate, for a personal loan with affordable monthly payments using a share account or share certificate as collateral.

Skip-a-Payment – You can stop by a branch or call our Contact Center for information about skipping a loan payment.
